James D. Baker, MD has recently joined our practice. Dr. Baker completed his undergraduate work in Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. His orthopedic surgery training was at the University of Illinois in Chicago.

An additional fellowship year of subspecialty training for hand and upper extremity surgery was completed at the Hand Center of San Antonio.

Dr. Baker is on staff at St. Elizabeth Healthcare (formerly St. Elizabeth Medical Centers and St. Luke Hospitals). He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Kentucky Medical Association, and Northern Kentucky Medical Society.

Dr. Baker specializes in treatment of upper extremity disorders including the hand, wrist, and elbow, with an interest in occupational and work related injuries.
