Born in Covington, Kentucky, Thomas M. Due received his B.G.S. degree from the University of Kentucky and his M.D. degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed his internship in general surgery at the University of Kentucky and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, New York. A fellowship in hand surgery was completed at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He was certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in July, 1989. Qualification in surgery of the hand was added to his board certification in October, 1992 and recertified in 2000 and 2008.
Dr. Due is on staff at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare (formerly St. Elizabeth Medical Centers and St. Luke Hospitals), and Health South Rehabilitation Hospital in Northern Kentucky. He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Medical Association, Kentucky Medical Association, Kentucky Orthopaedic Society, Northern Kentucky Medical Society, and Christian Medical and Dental Association.
