Dr. Grunkemeyer grew up in Cincinnati and went to the University of Kentucky for his undergrad before moving down to Texas to complete his medical training at Baylor Medical Center in Houston, Texas, where he graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He attended the University of Texas-San Antonio Health Science Center Orthopaedic Surgery Residency. His wife and four children are happy to be back in Kentucky. He sees a variety of orthopaedic conditions but has a special interest in upper extremity injuries. He currently resides in Villa Hills, Kentucky, and enjoys playing with his children and cheering the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team in his spare time.
