Dr. Forest T. Heis was raised in Cincinnati, OH and received his B.A. degree from Stanford University and his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Duke University. He also completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Orthopaedic Specialty Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr Heis has privileges at the St. Elizabeth Medical Centers, St. Luke Hospitals, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital, and Gateway Rehabilitation Hospital in Northern Kentucky and Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, Kentucky Medical Association, Northern Kentucky Medical Society and the Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati.
Dr. Heis specializes in all routine orthopaedic problems and complex sports medicine injuries.
