Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Richard M. Hoblitzell received his B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University Of Cincinnati College Of Engineering and his M.D. degree from the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine. His internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopaedic surgery were completed at the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo, Ohio. He was certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in July, 1992.

Dr. Hoblitzell is on staff at St. Elizabeth Healthcare (formerly St. Elizabeth Medical Centers and St. Luke Hospitals). He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Kentucky Medical Association, and the Northern Kentucky Medical Society.

Dr. Hoblitzell is interested in all aspects of orthopaedics.
