A native of Northern Kentucky, Dr. Hummel received his B.A. degree at Centre College and his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Kentucky. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC and his fellowship in joint replacements at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Hummel is on staff at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare (formerly St. Elizabeth Medical Centers and St. Luke Hospitals) in Northern Kentucky. He specializes in all routine orthopaedic problems with a special interest in joint replacements. Dr. Hummel is seeing patients at our Edgewood and Southgate locations.
